Be 18 years of age or older.
Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (PR).

You cannot be recieving social assistance.

Promise to financially take care of the family members being sponsored for a period of 5 years after they become a PR in in Canada.
If you are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible to sponsor your parents or grandparents to become permanent residents of Canada.

Be 18 years of age or older.
Provide three years’ proof of income to demonstrate enough income to support your family, including the sponsored members.
